Panhu

Panhu was a dog with five-colored fur. He was the dog of a queen, and this queen was married to a king named Gao Xin.

Gao Xin was the rival of General Fang, a nearby king who ruled over the Dog Jung. He declared a reward for anyone who brought him Fang's head. Panhu disappeared, and when he came back, he was holding Fang's head in his mouth.

Panhu was given the reward, which included the king's daughter's hand in marriage. Together, the two had sons and daughters that eventually would become the ancestors of the twelve legendary Yao clans.
