Nu Wa

Nu Wa is a divine goddess, depicted as having a human head and serpentine body

She created the first humans by modeling them in her vision. She molded some of them with a yellow earth material and others with mud

It is said that the ones molded with the yellow earth became rich, while those molded with mud became poor

She is a savior, having saved the world from destruction by healing a hole in the sky created by the monster Gonggong

She is also sometimes referenced as the wife of Fu Xi, who is a god who brought many innovations to human culture
